My Journey: From Passion to Purpose

“A story of resilience, growth, and empowering others to achieve their full potential.”

“There are moments in life that change everything. but sometimes, the biggest transformations don’t come with grand realisations. they come quietly, in the spaces where instinct meets action, where you simply keep going until one day, you realise—you’ve built something bigger than yourself.

And for me, that moment came first time when i held my own children in my arms for the first time. It was when I started creating impact as a Coach, Trainer and a mentor.

This was about reclaiming knowledge, reclaiming autonomy, reclaiming power and enabling and empowering others.

I grew up in a home where my mother carried the weight of everything – our home, our family, and the invisible expectations that followed her like a shadow. she was a homemaker my father headed a company , and between them, they built a life that was ordinary but full of quiet strength. i can’t recall a single day when i didn’t see my mother working relentlessly without a complaint, and somewhere along the way i absorbed that lesson: you show up, you do the work, you give your best, no matter what.

But every generation learns and unlearns in its own way. for me, it was realising that love didn’t always mean sacrifice or having to ‘let go’. so, when i had children of my own, i knew i wanted them to grow up with the liberty of choice. but choice, as freeing as it is, comes with responsibility. if you choose something, you own it. three decades later, my heart soars when i see my kids living by that—diligently, unapologetically.”

Journey so far:

As my startups gained traction, something else became clear—I wasn’t just passionate about running my businesses; I was passionate about helping others do the same. Friends, fellow mothers, and aspiring entrepreneurs started coming to me for advice. How did I balance it all? How did I push through self-doubt? How did I turn an idea into a profitable business?

And so, my transition into entrepreneur coaching happened naturally. It wasn’t just about sharing strategies; it was about empowering others to believe in their potential, just as I had to believe in mine. I found immense fulfilment in guiding entrepreneurs, especially those navigating the complexities of business while managing families.

“I started out working in a PR agency.

There was no grand “aha” moment in my life. My parents insisted I get married and I did.

Sometimes , the real blessings come from paths you never question. The corporate world pulled me in. And before I knew it, I was managing my husband’s firm. When life chooses for you, it rewires how you see the world.

The times I managed my own startups – I remember stepping out into a space where everyday was a new opportunity and a challenge – the long hours, the impossibly tricky decisions, the moments where life puts you in a spot that was as real as ‘make or break’ gets and let’s just say the latter of the two stopped being an option. And all while learning to manage the finer nuances of being a cofounder and a spouse.

There is no space for doubt, no time to hesitate. You move. You act. And,  sometimes fate, is on your side – you make some great choices and decisions.

But as a founder and owner , you carry the weight and the responsibility of the ones who believe in you and work for you and show up everyday even on the days when you don’t.

This 12 year period of entrepreneurial journey was a different kind of battle – the one you fight in your mind. It teaches you how to live with the unknown, to hold your breath without compromising on your duty and responsibility, to make the most of what you have.

For the next two years, I juggled with a forced sabbatical career and motherhood, raising my twelve -year-old daughter and seven year-old son. While rethinking my life, I began to study and research . There was no room for regret—only resilience.

Those years truly built me. They taught me that you cannot be good at your work at the cost of being a bad mother. Both things have to co-exist. Prioritization, and Delegation—these are not just management skills; they are survival skills.

I built Mindmines with a focus on trainings to impact the productivity, performance and productivity of the company and their team.

For the longest time, my work was confined to trainings. But in 2020, I realized that in order to create a real impact,  something more was needed. And that’s when Coaching started – to impact and reach more people.

I worked with foundations such as NIIT, to be able to create an impact. But then iI thought—what is the point of knowledge if it doesn’t reach the people who need it the most?

Coaching is holding space without judgement, just real, honest conversations about health, productivity, emotions, blind spots, lack of confidence, stress, procrastination, work life balance , and everything in between.

So much of our lives have been dictated by unspoken rules and it’s imperative to find our authentic self and live a life aligned to our core values.

I work 14-hour days.
I am a mother.
I am a wife.
I am a founder.
and I am human.

This work matters. Because knowledge is power. I want to be able to touch the lives of as many people as I can and help them look beyond their limiting beliefs.

Message to my younger self?
You have no idea how good it’s going to get. Life has so much magic in store for you. Keep at it..!”

Today, as an entrepreneur coach, I draw from my own journey—the highs, the lows, the lessons learned through trial and error. I understand the fears that come with starting something new, the guilt that often accompanies ambitious mothers, and the self-imposed limitations that hold many back. My mission is to help others break through those barriers and step into their full potential.

I went ahead and became a Certified ActionCoach, the worlds largest business coaching firm. Its been a rollercoaster of a ride and I continue to enjoy every bit of it.

Looking back, I see how each chapter of my life prepared me for the next. Motherhood taught me resilience. Entrepreneurship taught me courage. Coaching has given me purpose. And through it all, I’ve learned that success isn’t about having it all figured out from the start—it’s about taking that first step, trusting the process, and growing along the way.

To every entrepreneur, especially those juggling family and business, know this: You are capable, you are resourceful, and you are stronger than you think. Your journey may not be linear, but every step you take brings you closer to the life you’re meant to create.
